British model Munroe Bergdorf has been unveiled as the new face of luxury beauty brand Illamasqua.

Bergdorf hit headlines last month as the first transgender model to front a L'Oréal ad, but was dropped from the campaign shortly after due to her statements about racism on social media, prompting DJ Clara Amfo to quit L'Oréal's campaign in solidarity. Announcing the new partnership on Twitter, Bergdorf posted 'Thank you for standing by me @Illamasqua. Looking forward to kicking off this new chapter with the #Illamaffia!!!'.
